Behind the scenes hands- Contacts

I want to extend special thanks to those who are working hard behind the scenes and give you some contact information in case you need to reach out to them. All of these addresses have been reactivated and belong to the proper individuals. These are now a better way to reach out than the HDS facebook message becasue it doesn’t always alert when we get a message, so prompt response isn’t a guarantee.

Strangely has thrice circled the globe, often on a bicycle, with his multi-award winning “rollicking, sing-along, one-man cabaret riot” [Broadway Baby, Edinburgh] Roaring Accordion. Never failing to impress, Strangely draws audiences into an epic world where anything can – and often does – happen.

Music Headliner – DJ KHALEESI

DJ Khaleesi a local lady and a lover of all kinds of music. She is proud to have brought an eclectic mix to several events in the Great Basin area, most notably, the Great Basin Geeks’s “Geek Prom.” Her taste in sound is as varied as her hobbies; as she regularly engages in theater, costuming, historical reenacting, and event-planning (she also wouldn’t turn her nose up at a quiet evening with a glass of scotch and a good fantasy-fiction novel). So brace yourself, for music is coming. (DJ Khaleesi is Joanna S. Dunlap of Lovelies Cosplay)

Dover Whitecliff-

Dover Whitecliff was born in the shadow of Fujiyama, raised in the shadow of Olomana, and lives where she can see the shadow of Mt. Shasta if she squints and it’s a really clear day. She is an analyst and a jack-of-all-trades, but mostly a writer who has loved making up stories and drawing hedgehogs since forever. Dover won her first ten-speed as a fifth grader with a first-place entry into Honolulu Advertiser’s “Why Hawaii Isn’t Big Enough For Litter” contest. Her short stories in the anthology Heroes in Shorts are precursors to the upcoming Superspy with the Clockwork Eye, and the four-fisted, pulp action Dorado and Dark Claw Adventures.

Buffi Peterson-

Buffie Peterson is a 41-year-old mother of three sons who are 21, 21, and 20. Buffie and her husband, Stuart, have been together for 26 years. Now living in Nevada, she was born and raised in Washington State. By luck, her journeys in Nevada lead to the meeting of Sumiko Saulson who asked her to look over a story. Buffie found she had a great love of English thus she became an editor.  Of course, having three boys helped her in the YA and Midgrade Fiction genres. Currently, she has worked with authors like Yvetta Franklin (Midgrade Fiction), H.C Mann (Erotica), Jennie Ross (Mystery), and Sumiko Saulson (Horror/Dark Fantasy). Buffie says her favorite “genre” to edit is anything that takes the reader away from the normality we see in typical fiction.

Kristen Weiss-

Now based in San Mateo, CA, she writes genre-blending cozy mystery, supernatural and steampunk suspense, mixing her experiences and imagination to create a vivid world of magic and mayhem.

Kirsten has never met a dessert she didn’t like, and herguilty pleasures are watching Ghost Whisperer re-runs and drinking red wine. It gives her heartburn, but she drinks it anyway. Sign up for her newsletter to get free updates on her latest work at:
